Sporting Events - The Cradle Mountain Trophy

Cradle Mountain Trophy

Welcome to the fourth edition of the most exciting thing to happen to mountain biking - The Cradle Mountain Trophy - formerly known as The Honda Mountain Trophy. Honda's sponsorship has sadly come to an end after a great three-year ride, and we thank them for their support.

The Cradle Mountain Trophy promises a fantastic offering of single track, plus some challenging off-road, and of course some good technical aspects. But do remember that we are calling this the "Mountain Trophy" for good reason. It is not all flat. We will be making good use of tracks and trails which have previously been used for private events. On these farms you will be riding amongst some amazing wildlife such as Zebra, Wildebeest and even Rhino.

See the www.mountain-trophy.co.za for more details.

Cradle Mountain Adventure

For those of you not quite up for the two stage race, we bring you the Cradle Mountain Adventure. This race follows the same 45km route as the Cradle Mountain Trophy's stage two, but with the convenience of skipping stage one. Taking place at Maropeng on Sunday 21 April, the Adventure will commence at 8:00, followed by lunch and prize giving.

Cradle Mountain Kiddies Adventure

In true TLC fashion, we have not forgotten the kiddies. The Cradle Mountain Kiddies Adventure will take place on Sunday 21 April and will provide kids up to the age of 12 with 3kms of route and lots of fun along the way.
